Northern Goshawk Northern Goshawk feeds on a male pheasant, this bird is a yearling and is thought to be a female. This is my first set of goshawk images after many years of trying and many miles of travelling throughout Europe, and it's ironic I photographed the goshawk so close to home. This American goshawk spent a month at our Frisco Creek Facility in Del Norte after it was found on the ground with soft tissue injuries preventing it from flying. After one month of rehabilitation, we're happy to say this goshawk is back to flying high!
