The new Dietary Guidelines just dropped and they’re a mixed bag. They say they want to lower saturated fat but still promote meat and full-fat dairy—the top sources of saturated fat in the American diet. They recommend low-carb diets for people with chronic conditions. That’s outdated science and it’s dangerous.
