COLOSSUS The Colossus of Rhodes (Ancient Greek: ὁ Κολοσσὸς Ῥόδιος, was a statue of the Greek sun-god Helios, erected in the city of Rhodes, on the Greek island of the same name, by Chares of Lindos in 280 BC.
