Eighth-graders from Rigby Middle School won the Idaho Environmental Coalition’s Ecobots Robotics Challenge on Friday, taking back $1,500 for their school’s STEM programs.

Teams had their robots judged in one-on-one interviews. At the end of the day, the top four teams participating in the competition punched their ticket to the 2026 Vex World Championship.
