A strengthening winter storm has triggered widespread school bus cancellations across the Greater Toronto Area on Wednesday.

Some classrooms will be having a quieter start to their week as buses experience delays and cancellations Monday morning.

Environment Canada issued a yellow warning for the storm, advising that freezing rain or ice pellets could cause “messy winter conditions” Wednesday.
