In a statement, Iowa Sen. Catelin Drey announced she is cancer-free following successful surgery and recovery from uterine cancer.

Catelin Drey had been diagnosed with stage one uterine cancer. Her surgery was successful following her diagnosis.

Drey announced in January she had been diagnosed with stage one uterine cancer. Following a hysterectomy, she says she has no further signs of cancer.
