With no dragons and no warring dynasties, HBO’s “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” is the first test of whether the “Thrones” formula works on a human scale.
HBO is in "very early development" on a Game of Thrones spinoff starring Arya Stark, following the collapse of a previous sequel idea that would have featured Jon Snow. The Hollywood Reporter broke word of the project today in a detailed profile of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, who declined to comment on the unannounced project in detail.
HBO's Game of Thrones may have ended in polarizing fashion back in 2019, but Westeros has lived on in spinoff shows House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the latter of which premieres on Jan.
