Texas Department of Public Safety troopers fired pepper balls into a crowd of protesters outside an ICE detention facility Wednesday where a 5-year-old boy from the Minneapolis area is being held.
The father and son were detained on Jan. 20 in Minnesota.
Some students at Pflugerville ISD, Austin ISD and Manor ISD schools are walking out of their classrooms Monday in protest against recent ICE operations.
