Heightened Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in recent months has sparked waves of fear and uncertainty for many across the country, especially in Texas. The Lone Star State is home to the second-largest immigrant population in the U.S. , with approximately 5.1 million foreign-born residents as of 2022.

Buda Police said it was notified that students from Moe and Gene Johnson High School were holding a protest at RM 967.
