I just spent a little time dropping in some new ethernet jacks in my workshop tonight and stumbled on this handy little leatherman mod. I used the real thing, but I don’t usually keep one on me.

The only advantage the tool-less ones have is that you do not need a punch down tool. But in a pinch you can use a screwdriver to punch the wires down. Heck even the Leviton keystone jacks at Home ...
