Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson is entering the NFL draft in 2026. The quarterback was mocked to land with an AFC team that needs a franchise signal caller.

With Senior Bowl week behind NFL Draft prospects, one ESPN mock draft pointed out not a single franchise would give Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson a first-round grade. In fact, there are two other Alabama players slotted ahead of Simpson in his mock draft.

ESPN has named Alabama guard Labaron Philon Jr. among the Top 50 overall players in college basketball at the midseason point.

Alabama has a total of five games that made the list, as the Tide found themselves in numerous nail-biters throughout the course of last season. Alabama ended the 2025 campaign with a record of 11-4, as the Tide produced a multitude of signature moments throughout all 15 games of play.

Charles Bediako left the Alabama Crimson Tide to enter the 2023 NBA Draft, and while he went undrafted and never played an NBA game, he signed a two-way contract with multiple NBA teams and played the last three seasons in the G League.

ESPN has officially released their way-too-early Top 25 for the 2026 season following the conclusion of the national championship game. Per ESPN's Mark Schlabach, the Crimson Tide are currently ranked as the No. 21 team in the country looking ahead to next season.

On Saturday's College GameDay, an ESPN analyst said that Charles Bediako makes Alabama contender for the national championship.
